Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in St. Mark's Cathedral School!

Admissions Policy

Among the factors considered for entrance to St. Mark’s Cathedral School are character, interests, ability, record of achievement, class diversity, parent and/or student commitment to learning, and the ability of the school to serve the needs of the student. St. Mark’s admits students of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

The school facilities are provided and supported by St. Mark’s Cathedral. Faculty children, qualified siblings of current families, and members of the Cathedral are given preference in admission. Once a class is full, qualified students are placed on a waiting list. As openings occur, these students are offered admission. All fees and tuition payments must be received by the date specified in the enrollment contract.

Candidates must meet the following age requirements:

  • Preschool 2: Must be 2 years old by September 1 of the year of admission
  • Preschool 3: Must be 3 years old by September 1 of the year of admission and completely toilet trained before the school year begins.
  • Preschool 4: Must be 4 years old by September 1 of the year of admission
  • Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old by September 1 of the year of admission
